E! News is reporting that Justin Bieber, a Canadian, was detained by U.S. immigration officials upon flying into Los Angeles from Japan Thursday. TMZ reports that “U.S. Customs agents are giving JB a secondary customs search … which includes getting grilled about all his open criminal cases — DUI arrest in Miami, egg throwing at his neighbor, etc.”

Pandermania! RNC says ‘all Republicans support equal pay’

We get that the RNC is trying to zing the White House for its rank hypocrisy on this issue. But seeming to embrace the socialist notion that the government should mandate equal pay by gender is a total messaging #fail.

President George H.W. Bush honors Coach K for work battling cancer
We are honored and grateful to have @GeorgeHWBush and now Coach K lead us in the fight against #cancer. Thank you for all you have done.

President George H.W. Bush, along with wife Barbara, is a founding honorary chair of C-Change, which “assembles key cancer leaders from the three sectors — private, public, and not-for-profit — and from across the cancer continuum — prevention, early detection, treatment and quality of life.”
President Bush today met with Duke University’s Mike Krzyzewski, better known as Coach K, who is an honorary co-chair of C-Change.

We’re always glad to see President Bush out and about, but we wish the photographer had captured his always amazing sock swag.
