“Parking Angels” to Give Gift of Free Parking Cards!

DENVER — As a way to spread holiday cheer, Denver’s Right of Way Enforcement “Angels” will give the gift of free parking to drivers in Denver now through Saturday, December 24! The Parking Angels will hand out 100 ParkSmart Denver parking cards, valued at $ 5 each in metered areas of town.

The annual holiday program provides a fun way for agents to connect with drivers and help spread the word about ParkSmart Denver cards, which are the perfect stocking stuffers! They also come in $ 15, $ 25, $ 50, and $ 100 increments. The pre-loaded, credit card sized plastic cards can be used at any of the 6,000 Smart Meters throughout Denver.

ParkSmart Denver cards can be purchased at the following locations:

  • Metro area King Soopers stores (customer service counter)
  • Wellington Webb Building, 201 West Colfax Avenue

    First Floor Cashier Counter
Second Floor Cashier Counter by Community, Planning, and Development
  • Wastewater Management Building, 2000 West 3rd Street

    First Floor Permit Counter
  • Downtown Denver Partnership, 511 16th St., Ste. 200
  • Both Denver Tattered Cover locations:

2526 East Colfax Avenue at Elizabeth Street
    1628 16th Street at Wynkoop

In addition to the Parking Angels program, Denver Public Works has made several customer service enhancements this year to give people more tools to be ticket free, which include:

  • Creating a new service to help people manage their parking online, at parksmartdenver.com. After creating a profile, residents can take advantage of new features including the option to receive electronic notifications for free holiday parking days and to help remember renewal deadlines for residential parking permits.
  • Offering reserve and pre-pay options at some garages and lots in Downtown Denver that are parking destinations for people visiting museums and libraries.
  • Adding street sweeping reminders to Pocketgov, Denver’s new mobile web app that makes city living easier.
