Bette Midler reviews Edward Klein’s ‘Blood Feud’

http://twitter.com/#!/AmySMann/status/487779184928763906
Edward Klein’s new best-seller, “Blood Feud: The Clintons vs. the Obamas,” is billed as “a stunning exposé of the animosity, jealousy, and competition between America’s two most powerful political couples.” In other words, neither the Clintons nor the Obamas come out looking very noble. So, what’s Bette Midler’s review?

#Fiorina, #Trump and #Carson: Now what

By now everyone must know that Carly Fiorina won the marathon debate. By my unofficial pundit scorecard, it seems to be unanimous.
But picking the winner was the easy part. The harder part is in figuring out what it all means. — Josh Greenman (@joshgreenman) September 12, 2014

TMZ Sports reports exclusively:

Sources connected to Peterson tell us … the alleged victim is a male child from Minnesota who was visiting Adrian back in May at AP’s home in Texas.

We’re told the child returned home to his mother in Minn. who noticed injuries and took the child to a doctor. A short time later, the doctor contacted authorities in Texas to report Adrian.

Child Protective Services confirms they are working on a case involving Peterson and say the alleged victim is an 11-year-old boy.

Twitter is abuzz with talk that Peterson hit the boy, his son, with a switch.

Arrest of Adrian Peterson (reported by @MarkBermanFox26) stems from the disciplining of a son with a switch, source says. He’s been indicted

— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) September 12, 2014

Adrian Peterson spanked his kid with a switch, so what? My grandparents used to do the same thing to me. Kids need discipline.

— Ashley Collins (@Ashncoll) September 12, 2014

Adrian Peterson has been indicted for whoopin' his son with a switch. If that's a crime, my parents should be doin' 25 to life. Merica.

— Cloyd Rivers Pics (@CloydRiversPics) September 12, 2014

@Whoispauljr Adrian Peterson was probably just disciplining his kids. Most parents these days have forgotten how to do that.

— Real_Logic (@GTO_ROB) September 12, 2014

So Adrian Peterson going to jail for being a good parent.

— QuaSoDip (@JShowtime03) September 12, 2014

Wait a minute… Adrian Peterson got arrested for giving his son a whooping?! GET THE ENTIRE HELL OUTTA HERE!

— J.R. Bang (@jrbang) September 12, 2014

So basically Adrian Peterson hit his kid with a stick? I caught a wooden spoon beating a couple of times when I was a kid… #ItalianMoms

Adrian Peterson was indicted for whooping his son with a switch? If that's a crime, my grandma should be doing 25 to life…

— Coolest Mothafunka (@Scottie_Sampson) September 12, 2014

if Adrian Peterson is going to jail for beating his kid with a belt then the system needs to give my mom life w/o parole.

— lil tre ⛄️ (@DeontreOnLEAN_) September 12, 2014

Adrian #Peterson indicted on child abuse charges. Can't believe it. Met him many times and love the guy. http://t.co/8XmwSHm7h8

— Lily Jang (@KHOULily) September 12, 2014

There has to be more to the story than Adrian Peterson spanking his kid with a switch. If not most parents would be sitting in jail.

— OU Nation (@OUnation) September 12, 2014

So Adrian Peterson beat his kid with a switch? My grandparents used to beat the fire out of me with switches.

— Steelers Depot (@Steelersdepot) September 12, 2014

Adrian Peterson is being indicted for allegedly using a switch on his kid. My grandmother committed thousands of crimes over decades then.

— Michael A. Young (@RealMYoung23) September 12, 2014

Having the gov't define whipping your kid with a switch as "child abuse" is nanny state insanity. #AdrianPeterson

#Vikings say they are "gathering information" on Adrian Peterson situation and defer all other questions to Peterson's lawyer

Sabrina Brady, whose heartwarming and emotional doodle is featured on the Google homepage today, won the 2013 U.S. Doodle 4 Google competition with her “Coming Home” illustration. She is a twelfth-grade student in Sparta, Wisconsin.

Sabrina’s doodle stood out in the crowd; it tells the story of her reunion with her father as he returned from an 18 month deployment in Iraq. Her creative use of the Google letters to illustrate this heartfelt moment clearly resonated with voters across the country and all of us at Google.

In addition to seeing her artwork on the Google homepage, Sabrina—who is in 12th grade at Sparta High School—will receive a $30,000 college scholarship, a Chromebook computer and a $50,000 technology grant for her school.
