HIGHLAND — After continued success with their popular Highlands eatery LoHi SteakBar, owners Joe Pettenger and Taylor Drew have opened a new concept named LoHi Local. Tucked in the 400 square foot space right next door to SteakBar, LoHi Local is a cozy coffee house open daily at 6 a.m. Complete with outstanding food and drinks, friendly baristas and plenty of places to “plug in”, LoHi Local satisfies the needs of people who are looking for a quick tune-up on their way into work or for a place to set up shop and stay a while.
“We opened LoHi Local as the new neighborhood coffee shop, providing not only high-quality coffee drinks but enough space to use as a home office or favorite study area,” said Pettenger. “Hospitality and consistency are the main priority so that guests always feel welcome.”
LoHi Local’s simple, but carefully crafted menu offers a variety of espresso and coffee drinks, fresh pressed juices, natural soda, caffeinated cocktails, pastries, breakfast sandwiches and burritos, as well as boxed lunches and snacks. In addition, LoHi Local will feature a small selection of local market goods including artisan pantry items, milk and eggs, and organic in season fruits and vegetables.
LoHi Local is located at 3200 Tejon Street in the Lower Highlands Neighborhood. The shop is open daily from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, the public may visit www.LohiLocalDenver.com.
