Guy Fawkes Day has made it to America, adopted by groups like Anonymous and others who donned masks and protested in front of the White House today, the same day it had been reopened for tours. MSN.com reported that the protesters were there to promote social justice and end corporate greed, while the Washington Post simply noted that the marchers “were upset about a lot of things.” The signs and T-shirts are as good a sign as any of the group’s grievances.

A big attention-getter at the London rally was actor, comedian and one percenter Russell Brand, who recently declared profit “a filthy word” and called for revolution and massive corporate taxation.
