It’s the most populous city in the United States. It is constant movement, traffic, hustle and bustle and big business wherever you go. It’s “the city that never sleeps.”

That might explain why it smells so darn bad.

When Maroon 5’s lead singer Adam Levine explored New York City, the first thing he noticed was the blistering heat. The second was the awful smell.

While you might consider melty garbage to be an unusual smell to become accustomed with, many who responded to Levine made it clear it was just another day in NYC.
