President Obama held a press conference today that was intended to focus on gun control. Instead, reporters’ first questions were about the fiscal cliff. When confronted about the progress in reaching a bipartisan deal, President Compromise had this to say:

“Peel off the partisan war paint” and get budget deal done. Obama is eloquent, reasoned in presss conf on guns, fiscal cliff.
