Five New Year’s Eve parties under one roof at Hotel Boulderado

BOULDER — Boulder’s iconic Hotel Boulderado is rolling out the red carpet to host five parties under one roof for New Year’s Eve to ring in 2017. Guests can select their favorite party style and preferred price and not worry about driving by staying overnight in one of the property’s 160 guest rooms with room rates from $ 275, with the option to add a room night before or after Dec. 31 for only $ 135 based on single or double occupancy.

For true merrymaking with all the bells and horn blowers, Hotel Boulderado’s Event Center and Mezzanine are the places to be. From 8 p.m. – 1 a.m., merrymakers can dance the night away in the Event Center with the jamming sounds of Mennequin the Band and a large dance floor; savor food stands from around the world, a midnight toast and dessert bar; and enjoy roving entertainers and fun surprises. The cost is $ 85 with the option to add lobby party access for $ 35.

Situated under the colorful stained glass ceiling and overlooking the lobby, the Mezzanine will feature a delicious buffet dinner with reserved seating and Grove Nation Orchestra playing the full spectrum of musical styles from today’s Top 40 hits to Big Band sounds. Planned for 7 p.m. – 1 a.m., guests of the Mezzanine party will be treated to dancing, a midnight balloon drop and champagne toast, access to the lobby party, roving entertainers and other surprises for $ 145 per person.

Other options include starting the night with drinks, appetizers and dinner at The Corner Bar with live music by newgrass trio The Trubelos and free access from 5 – 8 p.m. Also, savor fresh flavors at SPRUCE farm & fish with a three-course prix fixe dinner from 5 – 11 p.m. for $ 65, including one glass of wine and the option to add lobby party access for $ 35. Revelers desiring a hip spot to mingle and dance should consider the speakeasy-style License No. 1, offering a DJ and drink specials from 8 p.m. – 2 a.m. for $ 25 per person.
